Good little boys get Toys for Xmas.

Once upon a time in a Country far, far away there lived a small family in a little village called the Grasshopper Village. Mommy and Daddy lived in a little straw house with their little son called Billy.

Mommy worked hard in the grasshopper village fetching water and cleaning the clothes and cooking for Daddy and Billy. Life was very good for Mommy, Daddy and Billy. There was food and Daddy could grow the vegetables and catch fish from the river. Then one year there came a very bad storm. The storm washed away all the crops and the river broke its banks and flooded the house.

Mommy and Daddy had to pack up all their belongings and find a new home at the top of the hill in the grasshopper village. Daddy built a small straw house for Mommy and Daddy but realized that Mommy and Billy would not be safe in the house. Daddy went to the village and wanted to buy bricks to build a new house but he could not afford the bricks as all the vegetables he had grown were washed away. He would have to think of a plan to get money to buy bricks.

That Night Mommy and Daddy talked till very late and in the morning Daddy came to say goodbye to mommy and Billy. Daddy packed a bag and said goodbye to Mommy and Billy and they were very sad to see Daddy go away.

Daddy had gone to the Mosquito village to work for the King. He would be in charge of making a pipe that would bring clean water to the mosquito village. The King told daddy he must go home to visit Mommy and Billy as often as he was able to.

Two weeks later Daddy came back and Mommy and Billy greeted him as he walked into the grasshopper village. Billy had looked after mommy and been a good little boy. Daddy was so proud of Billy and gave him a big hug.
The little family all had a very nice dinner together and Daddy told Mommy he would soon have enough money for a new brick house and money to send Billy to the best school at the bird Village. All The clever boys and girls went to the School at the bird village.

After a few months Daddy returned home and took Billy and Mommy to the Market and they bought all the bricks for the new house. Mommy and Daddy worked hard together and built a beautiful little castle on the top of the Hill.

Winter was approaching and the little family was so happy in their new little castle and lots of new animals came to visit. There were birds from the bird village,
bunnies from the bunny village, cats for the cat village and dogs from the dog village.

Billy made sure all the animals were looked after and had a warm place to sleep at night and food every day. Mommy and Daddy were so proud of little Billy. They decided to send a letter to Father Christmas in the north pole.

Father Christmas read the letter from Mommy and Daddy and decided he had been such a good boy that year that he should get some toys for Xmas. The Elves started to build Billy's toys. There was 1 wooden rocking horse, 1 wooden play Puzzle and 1 soft soccer ball.

The days became shorter and it grew much colder. It was Xmas eve and Billy was so excited, he knew he had been a good boy all year and put milk and a cookie out for father Xmas. He went to sleep that night and dreamt about getting a new rocking horse. He had been dreaming of it for a long time.
He woke early and ran to the Xmas tree, under the Xmas tree were 3 presents for Billy. He opened them all and was so excited. Mommy and Daddy were very excited too
that he had such nice presents.

That night the little family sat around the Xmas tree and was very grateful for being together again. They Prayed and went to sleep.

The Next Morning Billy took the soccer ball he got for Xmas and gave it to the children at the Bee Village.
The Children from the Bee Village had no parents to write to Father Christmas so did not get many nice presents.
They were so happy Billy gave them the soccer ball and they played till late at Night.

Billy went to bed and Mommy and Daddy kissed him goodnight and were so proud of little Billy. And they all lived happily ever after.
